Review of Riad El Ouarda, Marrakech, Morocco
Deep in the heart of the Marrakech medina this lovely old Riad was an oasis of calm.
Pretty much impossible to find, the directions were "phone us and a guide will come out and find you." Well he found us and took us to a wonderful place.
The Marrakech Riad El Ouarda is family run and only has about 10 rooms so it is quiet and beautifully furnished. There is lots of carved and inlaid wood for Essouaria which gives of a beautifully fragrant smell. The tiles that decorate the walls keep the rooms cool even in the most searing heat of a Moroccan summer. Go up to the rooftop and see the amazing view of the matket streets of hustling, bustling Marrakech.

I have no idea how much it cost John for us to stay there, but I really loved the place and the staff were very polite at all times. Very professional.
