Review of Plettenburg Hotel South Africa
We had been walking around the Tsitsikamma hills on a budget, but for my partner Jan's birthday we splashed out on a luxury couple of nights at the Plettenburg Hotel on the Garden Route which runs between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
It was a totally fab experience. The views are stunning, the rooms cool, the beds as soft as a puppy's ear and the food was amazing. The cocktail bar was a bit posh for scummy travellers, but sunset drinks on the Verrandah was as close to perfect as it could get.
