Stay on Lizard Island
What a fantastic holiday. The Aussies are the coolest sexiest people on the planet. They also know how to look after their guests. We flew to Lizard Island because we got a last minute deal on a Rainforest and Reef package so we had three days on the island and 4 days in the rainforest. We had no idea what it would be like but we were totally blown away.
Firstly the hotel on lizard Island is a big lodge on the beach. You get to eat dinner out on the main verandah and watch the sun set on the water. The food was always fabulous and they are generous with the extras as they always are in Australia. There was never a need to book a table in advance. If you can, go all-inclusive or you end up spending a fortune (and I really mean a fortune) on water.
You must do the motorboat and picnic thing because they pack everything you need and send you off on your own. Sex on the beach in the middle of nowhere has always been an Australian dream of mine!
Lizard Island Resort has brilliant diving because the reef is pristine and almost frighteningly full of multicolored fish... No worries!
