Chamonix Review
Chamonix is one of the
World's most popular Ski Resorts. Ever since Chamonix hosted the 1924 Winter
Olympics ski enthusiasts have flocked to Chamonix's sunny slopes for the quality
of the skiing and spectacular vistas of the Alps including a fantastic view
of the Mont blanc massif.
With fast lifts and well developed amenities Chamonix can be a dream for most skiers although for beginners the shere quantity of guests can lead to long queues at the lifts and a sense of being surrounded by dangerous beginners aiming to crash into you.
For Apres Ski we almost always ended up in either the Jekyll which is popular with the Brits or the Chambre Neuf which had a more international flavour (and more single girls!)
Chamonix is not the cheapest skiing resort and doesn't have the best snow,
but it is the coolest place to ski on the planet.
