Supper Club Amsterdam
Sexy and stylish, bold and brash, wild and wonderful, the supperclub is a totally uniqe evening's experience. We had been told to go "with an open mind and be ready to chill."
The small door off a side street by Dam Square leads you in to a remarkable lobby with huge wall paintings. The main room, a cavernous space painted totally white is furnished only with couches/beds along either side wall, liberally bolstered with cushions to lay down on. So, everyone takes their shoes off, not something I had ever seen before in a nightclub.
There is no menu available. There is a fixed 5 course meal but what it contains is unknown to anyone until the waitress brings your dinner to you. You can even enjoy a relaxing back massage from the roving masseurs while you wait. The five courses arrive over the course of about 4 hours so there is plenty of time to relax into the vibe.
Then lay back, enjoy the great music and massive video projections while you eat. After that, head downstars for the techno and trance or stay on the cushions, chilling the night away.
Despite the size we found the atmosphere at the supperclub in Amsterdam was cozy and everyone, both staff and clubbers were very friendly. You shuldn't come here if you are offended by nudity or anything out of the ordinary. Having said that, this is not quite as hedonistic as I had been led to believe and so you shouldn't be afraid of the supperclub.
We totally love the SupperClub. It is a unique experience and great value too.
