Four Seasons Hotel, Los Angeles at Beverly Hills - Reviewed
"We had a wonderful time at the Four Seasons Hotel."
The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills is big, but not too big. 200 or so rooms means it is still on the right side of impersonal. Our 'moderate' room had a balcony and a lovely view over the city. Inside it was clean and very stylish.
The pool area, surrounded by palm trees is an absolute oasis. The whirlpool feels very decadent, surrounded by spa tents where you can hide yourselves away.
The garden restaurant had a curious menu of 'regional' dishes which is always a bit disconcerting, making us wonder wether the chefs knew what the were really doig. However, we needn't have worried as from the first course to the coffeee, everything was executed with an exactness worthy of a michelin star or two. All of it tasted wonderful and we went back a second night. Praise indeed in a city like Los Angeles.
