Sheraton Sand Key Resort - Reviewed
Sheraton Quality resort on the beach at Clearwater
The Sheraton Sand Key is described as a Mediterranean-style resort. To be honest it looked as american as apple pie to me, but this is not a criticism. The resort was immaculate and the facilities top-notch. Situated directly the sands of Florida's wide and beautiful Clearwater Beach, the Sand Key is a hotel that emphasises watersports and beach based recreation. There are also tennis courts beach volleyball and an impressively kitted-out fitness center.
Our room had an ocean view and included an ISDN line. However they did make a high charge for accessing the internet which I felt was a bit steep when you consider the cost of the room.
Florida's attraction list is long and all the following were within fairly easy reach:
- Walt Disney World
- Cypress Gardens
- Busch Gardens
- Sea World
- Universal Studios
The Sheraton Sand Key is at 1160 Gulf Boulevard, Clearwater Beach. So if you are looking for accomodation for your vacation in Clearwater, then consider the Sheraton as a high quality and reliable, if not awe-inspiring option.
