Just east of Poole harbour the small town of Christchurch on England's south coast has had an image of being one of 'God's waiting rooms' because of the many pensioners who spend their twilight years by the seaside. The beach has been awarded a blue flag so you know swimming will be a pleasure, but messing around in boats and windsurf boards are prime activities. The wind is usually perfect, the bay providing a little shelter to take the edge off the roughest days.
