Datchet Day

Half way between Windsor and Runnymede, the village of Datchet is an ancient place with a lovely little village square. Sadly the traffic is a nightmare, but the river thames path more than makes up for that. There are a couple of lovely pubs and the church is wonderful. Best of all about 15 minutes walk from town takes you to the Royal Farm Shop at Old Windsor which is a deli/minimarket selling masses of organic food and luxury food gifts from the royal estates.
