Englands National Trust Houses
United Kingdom, London, London
The National Trust looks after old properties in England for the benefit of the nation.
In west london sited by the river Thames, Ham House is an outstanding example of 17th-century fashion and is said to be one of the most haunted houses in Britain. Close by is Osterley Park a magnificent neo-classical mansion which contains sumtuous interiors by Robert Adam. A little further west Basildon Park which was used in the 2005 film 'Pride & Prejudice' can be found in the county of Berkshire just an hour from London. These are just three of the more than 300 historic houses and gardens currently being looked after by the National Trust.
