London's Theatres

London and New York are rivals for the title of the world's best place for theatre, with Broadway and the West End often being touted as the place to go. Having been to both I can safely say either will thrill you, but for my personal preferences London wins by a short nose.

The streets are so ornate (look up at the buildings), there is so much good theatre and the acting is just brilliant. whether you want musicals, family shows, kids theatre, shakespearian classics (and boy do they do those well!) or cutting edge drama, the west end has it all.

Stay in the heart of it when you next enjoy a London Theatre Break and immerse yourself in the lights, action and glamour that is London's theatreland.

The London Underground is great for getting around, as are the busses, so find a nice hotel, drop off your bags, put on your best costumes and head out into the soho night. We love to do this at least once a year and I am sure you will too.
